Walk with GRACE raises over $400k, thanks community

RICHLAND CENTER, WIS (WRCO / WRCE) – The community has done it again. All the fundraising efforts for Walk with GRACE over the past year amounted to over $400,000, almost $100,000 more than the previous year. Thanks to the many teams and volunteers, this year’s walk, raised $411,470.31. This can only be done through the hard work of everyone in the Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination service area.

While the Walk is over and the numbers are in, up next for the GRACE Board of Directors is an annual meeting. The annual meeting also serves as a time for the board to show its appreciation to all the volunteers who worked so hard over the past year.

The community is invited to attend the annual meeting Thursday night, October 16, from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Phoenix Center in Richland Center. All are invited to learn more about GRACE, Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination. The Walk with GRACE Committee will hand out team plaques and plates in recognition of their hard work, and directors will hand out checks to the research facilities.

 The GRACE Board of Directors, Walk with GRACE Chairs, and volunteers wish to thank you for your continued support. This year’s total again is $411,470.31.
