APPLETON, Wis (WISS) – A non-partisan public forum on the real-life impacts of federal policies on Fox Valley residents is scheduled this evening at the Appleton Public Library.
The forum, “The Local Cost: How Federal Policies are Affecting Us in Wisconsin,” will open with a brief overview highlighting local impacts, followed by panelists and a question-and-answer segment.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
According to a press release, the event aims to connect the dots between federal decisions and the everyday challenges faced by Wisconsin families, retirees, farmers, and educators.
“Federal policies might feel far away, but their consequences are showing up right here—in our clinics, our classrooms, and our barns,” said event organizer Emily Tseffos, a local advocate and community leader. “This isn’t a political rally. It’s a chance to hear directly from neighbors whose lives have been disrupted by decisions made in Washington.”
