Happy weekend, folks!

Here’s our regular end-of-the-week roundup of all radio and podcast appearances. This one includes a few things from last week before the holiday weekend, too.

First, ICYMI, I joined David Nir of and Aaron Rupar of to talk about Tony Evers’ looming decision for 2026, and much more about Wisconsin politics. Watch that here:

Also new yesterday: The latest installment of “The Recombobulation Minute,” which you can hear all across the Civic Media network.

On to the rest of the roundup…

Every Friday, I join Jane Matenaer and Greg Bach in studio on “Matenaer On Air” (9-11 a.m. on the Civic Media network) to recombobulate on the news of the week. This week, we continued to unpack what happened in the state budget and the ongoing fallout from what passed (or didn’t pass) there. We also talked about Bill Berrien launching his campaign or governor, and Ron Johnson unsurprisingly voting in favor of Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” after spending months criticizing it.

Also, “Matenaer On Air” has a terrific segment on the show called “Audio Sorbet,” which serves as a palette cleanser after talking politics for a couple hours, and lightens things up a bit. This week, we talked about doing some online shopping after having a few drinks.

Find both hours of the show and the full livestream here.

On Thursday, I joined “The Maggie Daun Show” (4-6 p.m. on Civic Media) to discuss the latest in state politics and more.

Last week, on July 3, I joined “The Todd Allbaugh Show” (2-4 p.m. on the Civic Media network) the day after the state budget was passed (find commentary and analysis above, and coverage of the vote here) to talk about the somewhat chaotic and discombobulating end to the state’s budget process, which ended with Gov. Tony Evers signing the budget at 1:30 a.m.

More from last week:

Angela Lang, award-winning Recombobulation Area contributor, and executive director of Black Leaders Organizing for Communities (BLOC), is also now a frequent guest and co-host on various shows across the Civic Media network. You can find her work from the past week here, as well.

On Tuesday, she joined “The Maggie Daun Show” as co-host for the first hour, which you can listen to and watch here.

And on Monday, Angela Lang and Matt Rothschild filled in as guest hosts of “Matenaer On Air” for the full show. Listen and watch below.
