GREEN BAY, Wis (WGBW) – As the skies over Oshkosh quiet down, the numbers for one of the biggest aviation events in the world are coming in.
EAA AirVenture 2025 broke attendance records once again. During the weeklong fly-in convention, 691,000 visitors from 80 different countries visited the grounds at Wittman Field and the EAA Museum.
Last year’s record-breaking attendance of 686,000 visitors was crushed by over 5000 additional visitors this year at EAA AirVenture 2025.
Of those attending, approximately 15,000 camped on-site, with 3,000 of them being aircraft campers.
Jack Pelton, CEO and chairman of the board for EAA, said aviation enthusiasts and those with a casual interest attend the annual convention.
“We’re really seeing a much broader family participation. So, it’s moms, dads, and the kids,” Peloton said. “And it gets me really, really excited about the future.”
EAA AirVenture 2026 marks the return of the fly-in, scheduled for July 20-July 26, 2026.
