Fatal Head-On Collision in Dodge County

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Both drivers were hurt, one killed in a two-vehicle head-on collision in Dodge County this morning.

According to Sheriff’s officials it occurred just before 6 am on County Highway A north of Breezy Point Road in the town of Trenton. A 46-year-old Portage man driving a BMW Alpina sedan was heading south and crossed into the northbound lane striking a Kia Sorento SUV.

The driver of the Kia, a 35-year-old Beaver Dam woman, was taken to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam. She died after lifesaving attempts were unsuccessful. The Portage man was flown to Aurora Summit Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
