
Nominations Being Accepted for Award
RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Representative Alex Dallman announced nominations for the 2025 First Responder of the Year Award are open for constituents of the 39th Assembly District.
Constituents can nominate a first responder in any town, village, city or county in the 39th Assembly District for consideration of the First Responder of the Year.
First responders include police and sheriff officers, fire fighters, and EMS personnel (paramedics, EMTs, volunteer first responders). Nominations for a deserving person can be made for a variety of reasons including:
- A specific heroic action;
- A significant professional achievement
- Something special they do for the community during the course of their work;
- His or her body of work over time; and/or
- His or her length of service.
Nominations will close on Friday, September 19, 2025. Nominations can be made by visiting https://legis.wisconsin.gov/assembly/39/dallman/first-responder-of-the-year/ or by emailing Rep.Dallman@legis.wisconsin.gov with the nominee’s name, position/job title, and reason for nomination.
The winner will be invited to Madison on October 14, 2025 for a special recognition ceremony in the Assembly Chambers.
