
Suspect arrested after eluding police.
CRAWFORD COUNTY, WIS (WRCO / WRCE) – On Monday (September 1), the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near De Soto. As law enforcement personnel approached the vehicle, the operator accelerated and fled. A pursuit ensued but ended due to safety concerns.
An investigation continued, and the operator of the fleeing vehicle was later identified as Makail Richardson, 27 of De Soto. Law enforcement personnel with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Vernon County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested him at his residence.
Richardson was transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of eluding, recklessly endangering safety, resisting, and violating probation.
