RIDGEWAY, Wis. (WRCO) – On Thursday, Sept. 4, at approximately 10:49 a.m., the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle collision and disturbance near the intersection of USH 18-151 and County Road HHH in the Town of Ridgeway.
Upon arrival, deputies identified the operator as Brian S. McConnell, age 60 of Ridgeway, Wis. McConnell admitted to moving a barricade and entering a marked closed construction zone. During the incident, McConnell attempted to turn around within the active work area. McConnell’s vehicle subsequently rolled backward into the semi after he exited to confront workers.
