One-vehicle crash results in med-flight dispatch
GRANT COUNTY, WIS (WRCO / WRCE) – A one vehicle crash resulted in entrapment. Sunday night (September 7) around 6:30P, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the accident on Oak Road, in Paris Township. When deputies arrived, they learned Tristan Eastlick, 17 of Platteville, was southbound on Oak Road.
As Eastlick was negotiating a curve in the road, he met a second vehicle traveling northbound. Eastlick swerved to avoid colliding with the other vehicle, which resulted in Easlick entering the ditch and losing control of his vehicle.
After entering the ditch, Eastlick’s vehicle traveled approximately 100 feet and struck a tree on the passenger side. Tristan Eastlick became trapped inside the vehicle and he suffered serious injuries. Dickeyville Fire and EMS units were able to extricate him from the vehicle. Tristan Eastlick was then transported from the scene directly to a UW-Medflight helicopter, which landed near the scene.
