Two 12-Year-Olds Arrested After Threat at Racine Christian School
RACINE, Wis. (WRJN) – Police say two 12-year-olds are in juvenile detention after making threats to “shoot up” Racine Christian School Wednesday.
The boy and girl were arrested following reports of the threat just before school was set to start at 912 Virginia St. Police found a map of the school among the items the students had, which investigators say added to the seriousness of the situation. A statement says it was unlikely either had easy access to firearms.

As a safety measure, Racine Christian School canceled classes for the day. Both students face charges including making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. The case was referred to the District Attorney’s office and human services.
Racine police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be reported to the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (262) 636-9330 or through the Crime Stoppers app.
