Although I am originally from New York City, I have spent the majority of my life, here in Wisconsin.  I have been in radio for, let’s just say a long time, with half of my career at WRJN.

I enjoy serving as MC for the Racine Concert Band’s free concerts under the stars at the Racine Zoo.  Bring the family to the Zoo, Sunday nights this summer, to enjoy the music. Although I am not quite ready to play with the band, I am taking piano lessons.

When I am not on the air, my wife and enjoy Route 66 roadtrips.  We belong to the Route 66 Association of Illinois.  We’ve traveled Route 66 from the beginning in Chicago to Amarillo, Texas.  Hopefully, we will complete it someday all the way to the end at the Santa Monica Pier, in California.  I have already had the heads of the Illinois and Missouri Route 66 organizations join me in the morning on WRJN.  The rest will be on soon. Keep listening.

I was born in New York City. I got my start in radio as a janitor at a local Long Island radio station, where eventually I became the overnight DJ, 7 nights a week, while attending Hofstra University. In 1977, I made my way to radio in Atlanta, then to Milwaukee radio and in 1991 to WRJN and WEZY-FM, where I served as an air personality and Program Director for nearly 24 years. In 2023, Civic Media approached me to return to WRJN, where they asked me to put together a morning show each day to superserve our listeners in the Racine area with guests and information to make their lives better.
