Robert Charles Gwinn, age 57, of Washburn, formerly of Glidden, died on Friday October 17, 2025, at Ashland Medical Center in Ashland. He was born on May 29, 1968, in Ashland, the son of William and Charlotte (Loch) Gwinn. Robert was a graduate of the Park Falls High School and was the Vice President of the Washburn Lions Club. He was an amateur meteorologist and enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Charlotte Gwinn of Glidden, his brother Michael (Faith) Gwinn of Glidden, his girlfriend Kathryn Weister of Washburn, his good friends Rod and Roger, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father William, his sister Christine, and his “sister-in-law” Cindy Heglund.
A memorial service will be held at Glidden Assembly of God Church in Glidden on Thursday October 23, 2025, at 11:00am. Rev. Brock Bradenburg will officiate.
A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Glidden.
