We move onto the second hour of the Civic Media Spotlight. We kick off this hour with the Maggie Dawn Show. In this segment, Maggie is joined by State Senator Chris Larson for a political conversation about governing under a Republican-controlled legislature. Larson voices his frustration over missed opportunities to help leverage Democratic votes for Medicaid expansion and increased public education funding.

On the John and Gordy Show, the guys interview Matt Tramel, who's an Executive Director for Madison's Central Business Improvement District (BID). Matt is the marketer for all the wonderful events held in downtown Madison. Matt mentions Maxwell Street Days, which will take place this weekend and include amazing food as well as music.

On Mornings with Pat Krietlow, Pat learned how he’s weaponizing the Department of Justice to infiltrate Wisconsin elections databases, dismantling a safety agency that helped investigate the Superior refinery explosion in 2018, and ignoring Sens. Ron Johnson and Tammy Baldwin on recommendations to fill a vacancy on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.

Last but certainly not least, Northeast Wisconsin News Bureau Chief Lisa Hale talking with Noell Dickmann, Marketing Manager for the Paine Art Center, for Valley Focus.
