At the top of the hour, we need to take time to talk about abortion. Leaving individual states to make decisions about abortion has caused incredible harm. Amari Marsh was jailed unjustly for 22 days after a miscarriage in South Carolina. Two women in Georgia have died from preventable complications relating to abortion restrictions. Now, the Catholic Church is entering the legal arguments surrounding abortion. The Colorado based Catholic Benefits Association sued the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in order to allow discrimination on the basis of fertility and pregnancy. What. The. Hell. You can get involved in this by calling- respectfully- and voicing your opinion. Call Judge Traynor, who issued an injunction in favor of the Church, at 701-530-2360. Call Bishop Cary and Bishop Listecki who brought the case at 541-388-4004 and 414-769-3300 respectively.

Switching gears rather dramatically, we turn to Chef Adam Pawlak for our regular Tuesday 2:30 segment Yes, Chef! This week, Maggie and Chef Adam talk about Balling on a Budget- how to entertain guests without breaking the bank.
