Dr. Melinda Brennan, Executive Director of the Wisconsin ACLU, joins Maggie to discuss the current administration's immigration policy. The hard question - why should we care about what happens to immigrants? Caring means we care about due process, respect human dignity, and want the best outcome for our schools, communities and families and not destroy the economy in the process. This should be a problem we all care about on an ideological level. Dr. Brennan also explains that basic human rights are on the ballot on April 1. So vote early or vote on election day, but make your plan to vote. To see more from each of the Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates, take a look at the ACLU's questionnaire: https://www.aclu-wi.org/en/publications/2025-supreme-court-wisconsin-candidate-questionnaire. Plus, Jeramey Jannene from Urban Milwaukee joins Maggie for "Milwaukee As a Microcosm" to give an update on lead paint in Milwaukee schools. The news isn't good. More schools are now closed.
